I am Mrs. Tamiko Lacy, and I am a proud product of Caddo Parish Schools.  Upon graduating from Green Oaks Laboratory High School, I furthered my education by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Southern University.  I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University.  I have a passion for educating students and helping others.   I taught middle school English for ten years, and I have been a counselor for seven years.

I believe everyone can achieve and excel through academic excellence.  My philosophy in life is “Education is not a preparation for life, but Education is Life.”  I am married and have two children.
